Hello, I’m Emily. Welcome to Acuspace.

I founded AcuSpace in 2006 to help people feel healthier, happier and more resourced through traditional acupuncture in the same way I’d been supported through a back injury and really difficult periods. Today, that foundation has expanded to include somatic coaching and qigong - supporting your mind and body on an even deeper level.

AcuSpace offers a calm space to reset, grounding your system if you’re currently navigating things like:

  • The challenging physical and emotional transitions of perimenopause including hot flushes, night sweats and hormonal fatigue

  • Stress-related physical tension, such as headaches, back pain or stress held in the gut

  • An overwhelmed nervous system - a racing mind, feeling mentally scattered and poor sleep quality

Our work together is integrated and collaborative through bespoke treatments and curated programmes. Alongside clinical acupuncture, we tap into your physical intelligence through somatic coaching and regulate your nervous system with mindful qigong. We build a toolkit of practical resources that fit beautifully into your day-to-day life to support your wellness.

Ways we can work together

Everybody requires a unique strategy for restoration. While traditional acupuncture acts as our physical foundation, we can seamlessly integrate supportive, body and mind led practices such as somatic coaching and mindful qigong to resource you in your day-to-day life. I practice each of these disciplines individually or blend them according to your needs.

Acupuncture

Bespoke treatments in the comfort of your home. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs to support your wellbeing. Cupping, Gua Sha and Moxa are also available commonly used.

Somatic Coaching

Practical, conversational sessions to help your mind and body communicate; dropping you out of overthinking and tapping into your physical intelligence and so you can positively work with patterns of stress and chronic burnout.

Mindful Qigong

Gentle, meditative breath-work and movement practices based on traditional Eastern lineages. Simple, low-impact movement patterns to ease joint stiffness, support daily energy, and encourage a relaxed, quiet mind.
