RESEARCH + EVIDENCE

In this section, I explore the translation between the traditional patterns of Chinese medicine and Western named conditions. My aim is to provide a balanced overview of both current clinical studies and traditional expert opinion, helping you make an informed choice about your care.

While acupuncture has met strict substantiation criteria for conditions such as chronic pain and migraines, research into many other areas is ongoing. To help navigate this, I present information with reference to the ‘Evidence Pyramid’ - distinguishing between high-level clinical trials and long-standing traditional knowledge.
